In 2000 I engaged on a two year Interfaith Seminary training – (One Spirit Interfaith Foundation – www.interfaithfoundation.org) and was ordained as an Interfaith Minister in 2002. It was an important transition in my life and helped me arrive at some wonderful decisions about how I wanted my life to be.
My faith as an Interfaith Minister is integral to my work as a coach, trainer and writer. I draw upon my Interfaith background and spiritual beliefs integrating the wisdom and inspiration from all the different faiths and traditions to support my clients desire to create more rituals and experiences of meaning into their own lives and work.
I love rituals. I believe rituals remind us of what is sacred and often special to us away from the everyday run of the mill activities. Rituals connect us in meaningful and creative ways to what is important to us.
I offer the following ceremonies and services to friends, family and the public in my service and path as an Interfaith Celebrant:
- Baby Blessings & Adoption ceremonies
- Marriage ceremonies, civil partnership commitments and vow renewals
(In the UK you will still need to conduct a legal ceremony at a Registry office).
- Birthdays and other celebration events
- Transitions and special events
- Funeral & memorial services
- House blessings
- Events and conference openings
Together we create a personalized celebration, service or ceremony over a series of conversations. Creating a service, ceremony or celebration is an intimate partnership and I like to give any engagement the time and space for ideas and creativity to incubate and fertilise so we are guided to create what feels right for all concerned. Working in partnership we will create ceremonies that have meaning and spirit for you and will inspire deep connections between you and your loved ones as you celebrate moments of significance together in community.
